In order to investigate the in-depth cross section in the region of modified surface, two TEM cross section samples were prepared by using an FEI Nova Nanolab 600 Dual-Beam workstation, a focused ion beam (FIB)/scanning electron microscopy system.
The depth cross section of the hypocenters of the aftershocks around Yalova Çınarcık area took place in a zone between 5 and 12.5 km (Ito et al. 2002).
Then, we sliced reconstructed images along lateral cross section (XY-plane at Z = −2mm) and depth cross section (XZ plane) to show the locations of the reconstructed absorbers.
After reconstruction, the resultant images were sliced along both lateral cross section and depth cross section separately to show the locations of the absorbers.
The depth cross-section in Fig. 1 indicates that the hypocenters of most of the aftershocks lie in a zone between 5 and 12.5 km in depth (Ito et al., 2002).

All RC beams were of 150 mm width and 250 mm depth in cross section, with rebar and shear-span ratios taken as variables.
General behaviors of these specimens were reported, and the influences of flexural reinforcing ratio (or steel content), volume fraction of the fibers in ULCC, and depth of cross section on ultimate strength behaviors were studied and analyzed.
This hydraulic equivalent section has the same Z-Q relation, Z-A relation, dominant discharge, dominant river width, and dominant water depth as the cross section in the GVFAR.
In Fig. 6a, the shear span length and the overall depth of cross section were l = 1800 mm and h = 1200 mm, respectively (l/h = 1.50).
