Concentrations were determined in DBS obtained from finger pricks (capillary WB) and in DBS from in BD Vacutainer® fluoride/oxalate tubes collected blood (venous WB).
Different recovery or amounts in DBS compared to serum are probably due to the fact that measurements in DBS are actually measurements in blood and not in serum.
