Appropriate management of adverse events due to chemotherapy is a key factor in continuation of chemotherapy for malignant tumors.
In continuation of our research for novel human dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (hDHODH) inhibitors, herein we reported design, synthesis and pharmacological evaluation of novel substituted quinoline-2-carboxamide derivatives.
In continuation of our search for novel bioactive substances from this medicine plant, which has been proven to possess anti-chronic prostatitis activity, one new polyphenolic acid, plantain A (1), was isolated from A. plantago-aquatica by using various chromatographic methods, with four known phenolic compounds (2 5) (Fig. 1).
