In a ballsy move at the end of 2013, the Government of Catalonia declared that their would be a referendum on independence on November 9 this year, which will ask: "Do you want Catalonia to become a state?" and "In case of an affirmative response, do you want this state to be independent?" Because they're hilarious, they didn't bother to tell the central government about any of this.
In case of an affirmative response, the respondents were asked about medicine use related to each individual illness.
In case of an affirmative response, women were questioned about medication use for each individual indication as a free-text entry.
Judges can't simply reinterpret the law in the light of their private prejudices (even if, in the case of affirmative action and partial-birth abortion, their prejudices are in line with public opinion).

You could make the case in favor of affirmative action, and against legacy preferences, if you felt that college admissions offices should concern themselves as much with expanding opportunity as with rewarding academic merit.
In the case of college admissions, affirmative action has less practical effect than you might think.
Nineteen of those votes were cast in cases involving affirmative action, and I will return to them in a moment.
