The production process of the supplier, however, underlies risks which lead to random production yields, i.e., although the production input is fixed the output quantity in a specific production run is uncertain.
Some of the uncertainty might be overcome by further studies to obtain detailed data on which to calculate the probability of introduction via various routes in a specific production system in a specific region.
