The council said it had identified improvement works required at the property on earlier visits and that now the Home Office contractors have begun to do the repairs.
Balfour Beatty was steady at 220.1p as it won a £200m contract from Herefordshire council for highway maintenance and improvement works, as well as parks and lighting.

Now a second letter from the staff has accused the trust of taking too much of the school's central government funding and preventing it from ensuring improvement works were "cost-effective" by giving contracts to a firm, Blue Support Services, owned by the man who leads the trust, Mike Dwan.
"As we explained to the FA, the choice of both a 5.15pm kick-off and the staging of the FA Cup final on a bank holiday weekend when Network Rail had already planned essential route improvement works means we cannot offer fans the level of train service they have come to expect," said a Virgin Trains spokesman.
