A model-guided process evaluation can critically inform health services research demonstrations designed for enabling continuous, ongoing feedback and improvement of client-related services.

Measurement of intervention clinics' viability and, subsequently, their ability to sustain the provision of curative and preventive health services was based on three dimensions of health care service: a) expansion of services, b) improvements in client perceptions of quality of care, and c) sustainability of services.
This study highlights the urgent need for improvements in the quality and hospitality of client services and need for family support as the key modifiable factors affecting over two-thirds of this population.
