The finding that job satisfaction and conscientiousness improved over the study despite most workers reporting high levels of dissatisfaction with financial rewards provides new temporal evidence pointing to the importance of non-financial factors, as most previous quantitative studies on health worker motivation are based on cross-sectional data only [ 2- 4, 9, 12, 13, 17, 18].
In the search for cost conscientiousness and improved population health, it is a difficult but important realization that not all patients require the same quantity of resources to reach the desired goal of care.
Often those goals are improving capacities like conscientiousness, listening, collaboration and the like – which can yield better performance.
In contrast, psychological QoL was improved in those caregivers with higher levels of conscientiousness.
This suggests that conscientiousness may indeed improve in the later years of undergraduate study and/or post-graduation.
Entrepreneurs low on conscientiousness will need to improve their planning or find the right partners to keep everything on track.
With More Than a Feeling, Adam J. Ramey, Jonathan D. Klingler, and Gary E. Hollibaugh, Jr. have developed an innovative framework incorporating what are known as the Big Five dimensions of personality openness to experience, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism to improve our understanding of political behavior among members of Congress.
Although we have reported no change in CI score and hence conscientious behaviour between year 1 and year 2 of studies it has been reported that in adulthood, up to the age of ~40 years, conscientiousness, aspects of extroversion (social dominance and emotional stability), open mindedness and agreeableness all improve [ 22, 23].
As conscientiousness is also linked to exam performance [ 16] it is also possible that students with low a CI in year 1 also performed poorly in exams and put extra effort into year 2 studies, for example, in the form of increased attendance which would improve CI scores.
