More recently, it has been reported that bone marrow transplantation improves attenuated fertility after low dose chemotherapy in mice, although all newborns were of recipient and not of bone marrow donor origin [ 95].
Evaluation of cardiac function showed a significant increase in the ejection fraction, improved neovascularization, attenuated fibrosis as well as less left ventricular dilatation as compared to an animal control group.
