It could increase the patients' endurance limit due to hypoxia, relieve the symptoms, improve their exercise capabilities and quality of life, and has become a major part of therapy in stabilising COPD.
We will measure objective physical functioning at baseline and 12 weeks only, and hypothesise that participants in the intervention condition will improve their exercise capacity more than those in the control condition.
