Since an edited form of "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" was published as a traditional book in April by Amulet, an imprint of Harry N. Abrams, it has sold 147,000 copies, according to Nielsen BookScan, which tracks 50percentto70percentcent of retail sales.

His first publisher, ReganBooks, then an imprint of HarperCollins, called it "reality fiction".
HarperOne, an imprint of HarperCollins, said it would release the book, "The Wild Truth," in fall 2014.
Then again, long before the book was released in the United States by the Harper imprint of HarperCollins Publishers, it came with a laureled publishing history.
Dutton, an imprint of Penguin Group USA, said it expected to release the book next April to coincide with the first anniversary of the bombings.
