Besides these techniques, conjoint analysis (a trade off approach among attributes) is another technique that is used to evaluate the importance of preference measurements [ 14].

So it may be that the prime mitigates the effect of hunger on food choice by either boosting the perception of fruit as more functionally valuable (Veltkamp, Aarts, & Custers, 2008a), or by boosting the relative importance of taste preference in hungry food choice, thus making hungry and non-hungry food choices more similar.
Specifically they show both the increasing importance of preference-based matching when incomes are higher and the increasing possibility of mismatch when household public goods are relatively more important.
