The session consisted of an interactive seminar designed by the POLM investigative team and was implemented by study personnel.
One innovative solution to the variability of HF care, recently implemented by study team members, demonstrated the acceptability and feasibility of an on-site specialist HF service for people in UK care homes.
The quality appraisal was adapted from the assessment of quantitative studies scale created by Jinks et al. (2011), which has been implemented by other studies (Clark et al. 2014).
In what follows we briefly summarize the different approaches implemented by these studies.
An over-labeling (blinding) system was implemented by a study coordinator not involved in laboratory testing to avoid interpretation bias.
An annual household census, implemented by the study team, records the total number of households and their inhabitants, by age and sex, residing in the study area.

With regard to mode of exercise, multimodal exercise interventions including aerobic exercise + resistance training + stretching were implemented by seven studies [ 24– 30]; the pooled effect estimate for this subgroup showed significant reductions in CRF symptoms (SMD = −0.35, 95% CI −0.62 to −0.08), P = 0.01.
As a consequence, we can present the learner with immediate, real-time feedback (e.g., Kim, Min, Kim, & Lee, 2014 for an example for yoga postures) or study the exhibited actions and underlying processes at a later point in time such as implemented by the reviewed study of Dackermann et al. (2016) who provided delayed feedback via video to their participants.
