Addressing that issue and according to the requirements of the recently implemented benefit assessment regulation for new drugs (Arzneimittelmarktneuordnungsgesetz, AMNOG), a subgroup analysis was performed with the PLATO results evaluating the subset of patients in the study cohort receiving ≤150 mg ASA (ASA low-dose cohort).
Although in Norway there are several social security- and welfare benefit schemes by which particular groups are refunded there is no general reimbursement of the costs of private dental care by public funds and Sweden has implemented benefit schemes for the total adult population that are of a more universal nature.

To increase knowledge sharing between traditional medical healers and conventional scientists, and potentially tap into a new source of drug products, NIPRD implemented benefit-sharing agreements that allowed a traditional medical healer to participate in the profits of any drug originating from their recipe.
