In terms of technology management, many health practitioners have asserted that ICT implementation, once properly understood and carried out, will result in proper technology management.
This talk will discuss the new Human Rights Data Initiative at the Open Society Institute, our strategy over the coming years, and how donors can support the targeted, meaningful implementation of technology and data management in human rights organizations.
This finding is consistent with the general management literature, which suggests that implementation of technologies may both be influenced by cumulative learning, expert knowledge, and unique insights that may lead to their successful adoption within organizations [ 39- 41].
Contemporary, efficient, and balanced technology management implementation stands in need of a new perception of technologies.
