As a result of the aforementioned works, the Health and Social Care Modelling Group (HSCMG) in collaboration with the Care Services Efficiency Delivery (CSED, Department of Health) developed a software implementation of the forecasting framework [ 10], known as FLoSC (Forecasting Length-of-Stay and Cost) (cf. http://www.healthcareinformatics.org.uk/flosc/).uk/flosc/
To this end, the development and implementation of several forecasting methods will be discussed.
The implementation of our forecasting procedure relies on the multivariate linear Gaussian state space framework, and is applied to the national French hourly electricity load.
It will require significant changes in grid planning and operations, continued technical evolution in the design and operation of wind turbines, further adoption and implementation of wind forecasting in the control room, and incorporation of market and policy initiatives to encourage more flexible generation.
With new tools (smartphones and tablets) and clever implementation of Bayesian forecasting, use of models for helping decision making under uncertainty should be more developed in clinical routine.
Section 3 is dedicated to the implementation of the proposed forecasting system, each sub-system functionality being exemplified by figures.
