Scientific data support the efficacy of lifestyle measures used in Type II diabetes prevention, however, realities of program implementation in the general population pose some difficulties.
Besides this need for impact evaluation, there is a need to evaluate the feasibility and fidelity of intervention implementation in the new population and setting [ 10].
The included studies clearly show that, from a cost-effectiveness point of view, only FIT may currently be ready for widespread implementation in the general population.
