To accomplish this, we propose using a modified equation based on the diffusion of innovations theory popularized by Rogers, [24] which posits that individuals progress through five stages before adopting a new innovation or technology: knowledge, persuasion, decision, implementation, and confirmation.
Adoption would occur in five steps: knowledge, persuasion, decision, implementation and confirmation.
