Thompson et al. (2000) also educated practitioners but additionally tried to implement guideline concordant treatment [ 35]. Baker et al. (2001) used a tailored application of practitioner training by firstly analysing possible obstacles for successful guidelines implementation and then delivering individualised help to the GPs [ 36].
Programme content aims to prepare participants to: (1) understand the philosophy of the SEPRP, (2) understand and apply the principles of adult learning and effective management of small groups, (3) understand programme materials and approaches to its implementation and (4) deliver the exercise component of the programme as planned.
