Baseline characteristics significantly associated with regular dizziness at 7-year follow-up were gender, education, living alone, history of dizziness, history of peripheral arterial disease, number of drugs, use of anxiolytics, use of diuretics, use of nitrates, anxiety, depression, impaired vision, impaired functioning of lower extremities, and impaired standing balance (Table 1).
