RNA extraction and RT-PCR were as in [ 48] except for the final step where quantification was performed by ethidium-bromide staining using a Bio-Rad Laboratoriestationng standon and the Quantity One image analysis software (Bio-Rad Laboratories, HerCAles, CA, USA).
