Maps were digitised in the ArcView 3.2 Geographical Information System (GIS ESRII, Redlands, USA), using the Image Warp extension [ 18].
While length distributions were unimodal, mismatches within the circular region were common, due possibly to image warp (which results in non-circular images of the cones), segmentation error, or blur.
To achieve high imaging quality artifacts, the holes must be inpainted after image warping which means high computational complexity.
Additionally, the effects of motion artifacts in retinal imaging produce not only simple discontinuities throughout the image, but also distortions and image warping in features of interest [ 23].
We demonstrate the applicability of proposed approach for registration of medical images and image warping.
Finite element models of the sketched structural system and image are constructed and simulation results fused into a final visual encoding, using deformation patterns and image warping.
