The slices were incubated over-night at room temperature with anti-b-gal (1∶200, Sigma-Aldrich, IL) together with one of the following antibodies: anti Doublecortin (1∶100, Santa-Cruz Biotechnology, Inc., CA, U.S.A), Tuj1 (1∶400, Covance, CA, U.S.A), NF-160 (1∶800, Abcam, U.K), NeuN (1∶200, Chemicon, CA, U.S.A).
