By construction, the best results are compatible with the PROMETHEE II ranking.
The methodology aims at (i) quantifying the impact of climate change on the overheating risk, (ii) ranking and characterizing the various building types in terms of their overheating risk and sensitivity to climate change, and (iii) assessing the potential of ventilative cooling to mitigate the effects of climate change.
We tried three approaches in this article, (i) classification (to distinguish partial positives with negatives); (ii) ranking (to rate partial positive more likely than negatives); (iii) embedding (to make data clusters get similar labels).
In detail, it selects optimal features from an initial feature set by the following steps: i) fits a simple linear SVM, ii) ranks the features based on their weights in SVM solution, iii) eliminates the feature with the lowest weight to get the gene rank.
However we avoid the issue of characterizing exactly such a distribution by: (i) splitting the input string into blocks of predefined length and limiting the analysis to each block separately, providing mechanisms to deal with TRs stranded across the block boundaries; (ii) ranking the periods by weighted frequency and exploring only the top L positions (for L = 50 in our experiments).
The even better news, at least at the moment: "Richard II" ranks among the finest and certainly the most moving of the many productions Mr. Grandage has directed at home base, which is to say it's up there with his "Merrily We Roll Along," "Caligula," "The Wild Duck," and "Red," to name but a few.

In order to make use of the PROMETHEE II ranking, the preference function is determined as the linear function, the fifth among the Decision Lab functions (according to Table 1), and it has been used for all of the three criteria.
