In the service of humor, I decided to play along with the "If Paintings Were New Yorker Cartoons" game.

The other day, I came across a post from Dartmouth's humor magazine, titled "If Paintings Were New Yorker Cartoons," in which famous paintings are paired with New Yorker cartoon captions.
A couple of nights after viewing the work, I dreamed that an annoying young man was pestering me to tell him if paintings by an old woman, perhaps his grandmother, were worth anything.
So in the same way you wouldn't ask if paintings or poems can be art, it is no longer relevant to ask if games can be art.
