The rest of the world can just call Trump an idiot, a man with few ambitions outside of being Trumpy, whose remaining strands of what one might call policy are wisps of spun sugar extruded by hot air, reminding everyone of the tacky coif that sits atop his blanched Smithfield Ham of a face.
Often described as an anti-comedian (he has about as much in common with your conventional stand-up as he does with a ballerina), Aczel is more of a verbal clown: he presents himself as an informed idiot – a man who has read a lot of books on a lot of subjects but understood none of them.
One might call him an idiot – a man who didn't realise that accepting $100 million of Fox's money would oblige him to watch impotently as his credibility, Peter, Lois, Brian, Stewie, Chris, Meg et al were thrown under that same bus.
He'd start muttering, 'Look at those fools; look at that idiot of a man,' and so on.
"The Sect of the Idiot" follows a man as he discovers a cult of people who have willingly become grotesque versions of their former selves, staring forever into the void with their "withered, wilted claws bearing numerous talons that tapered off into drooping tentacles".
And who doesn't relish in the character Michael, himself not only the embodiment of "The Man" but, a bumbling idiot of a man at that.
