Based on maximum identity score and query coverage, the best highly identical 10 sequences were selected and aligned using multiple alignment software program, ClustalW (MEGA tool).
Based on a maximum identity score achieved from BLAST, strains, having exactly same or nearly same sequence across the D2 region in 28S rDNA, were selected.
The predicted polypeptide sequences of trout properdins pfc1, pfc2 and pfc3 (449, 449 and 447 amino acids, respectively) share 78 90% identity to each other, showing the highest identity score (47%) with their zebrafish ortholog protein.
Sequence alignment for KJ710108 via nucleotide BLAST on NCBI showed 99% identity score with 12 ITS sequences of L. callosum from Korea and one ITS sequence of L. callosum from China.

With a view to identify the isolated B. bassiana sp., a BLAST search was carried out between CS and NCBI database and 15 sequences, with their respective host organisms, were selected based on maximum identity score (Table 1).

An identity score was computed by comparing the subject text against itself.
