How did participants view migration and identity retention of the agent?
Two aspects of the migration scenario were measured, identity retention and migration signalling.
Identity retention: Did you feel as if you were interacting with the same agent in both embodiments?
A multivariate data matrix containing information on sample identity, ion identity (retention time and m/z), and ion abundance was generated through centroiding, deisotoping, filtering, peak recognition and integration.

Similarity between the two sand flies, with regards to the carboxypeptidase molecules, can be seen in amino acid sequence alignments, depicting the high level of identity and retention of the catalytic residues necessary for metallocarboxypeptidase activity.
Despite highly divergent amino acid sequences between plastid acpP paralogs (28 35% amino acid identity), differential retention of just the acpP2 copy in Asterionellopsis suggests that the two genes are functionally equivalent, a hypothesis that would be further supported if acpP1 is not found in the Asterionellopsis nuclear genome.
The identities and retention times of the substances in the training dataset were provided in a summary CSV file.
Mass spectra are used to confirm analyte identity with chromatographic retention time.
