Each article was subject to multiple coding, serving to summarise its primary focus whilst allowing for the identification of detail [ 19, 20] i.e. an article would be coded for each individual food or nutrient mentioned and the health and fitness context(s) in which the diet claim was made; as well as format of diet information.
