The predominant products of arsenopyrite weathering were identified by XAFS to be As-bearing Fe (hydr oxide and arseniosiderite (Ca2Fe(AsO4)3O33H2O). Existence of the former species is not in question, but the presence of the latter species was not confirmed by additional measurements, so its identification is less certain.
If the soil sample image quality is sufficiently favourable in terms of contrast, noise and sharpness, the pore identification is less complicated, and the PFCM clustering algorithm can be used without additional processing; otherwise, images require pre-processing before using this algorithm.
This in no way undermines the potential of tissue culture-based model in potential biomarker discovery as the validation can be achieved by alternative means, but the identification is less cumbersome using this system.
A low Mascot ions score (particular in relation to the Mascot identity or homology thresholds) indicates that a peptide identification is less certain, but it does not presuppose that such interpretations are necessarily incorrect.
Since we discarded protein groups not having any specific peptide (Suppl. Figure 7), the probability that a group is nonetheless artifactual, but not detected as such because of a single FP specific peptide identification, is less than 0.1%.

In multivariable Cox regression model of individuals who were HIV mono-infected at baseline (Table 2), males aged 45+ at HIV identification were less likely to become co-infected compared to males aged 15-24, (HR 0.55, 95% CI: 0.31-0.97), but age was not significant for females.
In our experiments by using the SCT profiles instead of CDR logs, we have found that with 10 observations the probability of re-identification is less than 20% for all the users and about 99% of people has a risk of re-identification of about 1%.
