dicoccoides, henceforth shortened to T. dicoccoides, genomes AABB) evolved between 0.2 and 0.5 million years ago [ 4, 5] via hybridization of wild T. urartu (genomes AA) and an extinct or undiscovered species in the lineage of Aegilops speltoides (genomes SS, where S is closely related but not identical to the wheat B genome) [ 4, 6- 9].
For the CKX gene family, three sets of TaCKXs were almost identical to the recently annotated wheat TaCKX1, 2, and 3[ 47- 49] and were named accordingly.
The nomenclature of PDI-like sequences of different plant species and of the moss P. patens was identical to that adopted for wheat (see Additional file 3).

Chemically, vital wheat gluten is identical to regular gluten, and no more likely to cause harm.

TaABF1 [ 33] and TabZIP60 [ 34] were identical to TabZIP23 and TabZIP51 in our 182 wheat bZIP family members, respectively.
For the majority of sequences, haplotypes in the diploids are identical to the corresponding homoeologous haplotypes in euploid wheat.
The orfB gene nucleotide sequence is also completely identical to the orf156 mitochondrial gene sequence of wheat [ 25].
If HF-solvolysis was performed at −23 °C, the resulting homogalacturonan had a degree of methyl esterification identical to that of the pectins in the initial wheat cell wall.
