"I was scammed" is a correct and usable phrase in written English.
It means that the speaker has been tricked or deceived in some way and has lost something valuable, often money. It can be used in any situation where someone has been a victim of fraud or deception. Example: "I thought I was getting a great deal on that new phone, but it turns out I was scammed. I lost all of my savings and now I have nothing to show for it."
