The pledge, which has also been signed by candidates Bachmann, Perry, Gingrich, and Santorum to date, reads, in part, "I support a human life amendment to the Constitution, and endorse legislation to make clear that the 14th Amendment protections apply to unborn children".
"I strongly support human space flight, but not at all cost," said Representative Sherwood L. Boehlert, the Republican of New York who is chairman of the House Science Committee.
"Diversity, unity, equality, are things I support as a human being," she says.
And to people of all nations, I say supporting human rights is your responsibility too.
