A code book (harmonization guidelines) was made explaining how the variables were harmonized (see additional file 1: Harmonization guidelines).

Use Case I: Metadata Harmonization: The first use case describes the specifics of the new GeoDCAT-AP standard, and the implementation of it on the OTN Hub with the corresponding metadata catalogues CKAN and Micka.
Probably because having dabbled in video and audio editing and effects, timing and frame rate stuff was always a pain (though thankfully we've mostly left behind interlacing and other legacy cruft) and I would welcome harmonization really of any sort.
However, the value gained from combining disparate datasets to address broad-scaled research questions can only be fully realized through data harmonization, i.e., adjusting for differences in units, formatting, naming, and other conventions, so that datasets collected by different data providers can be integrated.
Figure 1 also lists all harmonized variables of which the harmonization was successful (i.e. no or very little loss of information).
We think harmonization, as I alluded to, is important.

Particularly striking among the "Garland" works were "The Doorway of Dawn" a setting of a short Pima Indian poem by Mr. Matthews in which a melismatic solo tenor line gives way to a lovely choral harmonization, and Ms. Panufnik's "I dream'd," an alluringly chromatic Tennyson setting.
In any case, I believe we would benefit from greater harmonization of the rules of international private law rather than substantive law.
