'hyperlinks' is a correct and commonly used term in written English.
It refers to clickable text or images on a webpage that lead to another webpage or online content. Example: "The article contained several hyperlinks to relevant sources, making it easy for readers to access additional information on the topic."
And there is where the problem lies - for while there are tools to map the structure of web sites, of use to web masters, they give only a very limited and local view of the web of hyperlinks.
