In particular, an ecologically based approach to better land husbandry helps to foresee potential problems in some detail, so that appropriate forward planning can be undertaken to avoid them.
Better husbandry might help, too.
Although good husbandry can help in reducing the risk of transmission of coccidiosis-causing parasites, additional measures are essential to accomplish a complete control of the disease [ 5].
Amref is therefore teaching farmers good farming practices, such as crop husbandry sanitation, to help reduce pests.
