To the Editor: The ostensibly humorous phrase "senior moment" contributes to the "epidemic of anxiety around memory loss" that is cited in Margaret Morganroth Gullette's Op-Ed article.
Mr. Farmer's concept is to add a "B" to certain words in popular phrases to create a different, humorous phrase, and, fortunately for us, they all work.

In the past we would use the phrase 'jolly hockey sticks' – a humorous phrase used to describe upper-class school girls' annoying enthusiasm.
