Kendrick Lamar and LCD Soundsystem will headline the festival, which again hits Exposition Park near downtown Los Angeles on Aug. 27-28.
For most of the hour, the exposition hits just the right note and the camera angles are perfect copies of what "The Twilight Zone" used to do.
Expectations raised by the importance of the topic and the obvious intelligence of the author are continually dashed by sketchy, hit-and-run exposition.

Louis and WashingtonD.C. and permanent shows would be the hits of world's fairs and expositions at San Diego, Dallas, Cleveland, San Francisco and ultimately on Broadway in New York City in 1939.
And like so many broadcast network dramas of late, the drama hits the viewer over the head with obvious exposition ("What you do is, you see the worst in yourself and apply that to everyone else!"), which might be tolerable if the other elements of the show were working more consistently.

So far, it's an agreeable journey, but then, about 90 pages in, the novel hits a wide, dull stretch of potted history and exposition on topics like the Ogallala aquifer, pivot irrigators and the principal crops of the region (wheat seed, sorghum, soybeans, peanuts and cotton, if you were wondering).

(One of the people who recognized him was the hip-hop producer Clark Kent, who pumped his hand excitedly while reminiscing about Day's greatest hits: "Making coats with pockets to hide the heat? Ooh!") At Capsule, a casual-fashion exposition held in a gymnasium on the East River, Day seemed to see every garment as a collection of possibilities, not as a finished product.
