Multivariate analysis revealed that our clustering was a predictor of recurrence and was independent of histological grade, macroscopic configuration, vascular involvement and renal vein tumor thrombi (Table II).
The Cox proportional hazards multivariate model was used to examine the prognostic impact of the subclassification of patients based on the DNA methylation status of their clear cell RCCs (Clusters AT and BT), histological grade, macroscopic configuration, vascular involvement and renal vein tumor thrombi.
