The word 'hijacker' is a correct and commonly used word in written English.
It refers to someone who takes over control of a vehicle, airplane, or ship by force or threat of force. It can also refer to someone who seizes control of a system or process, often for negative purposes. Example: The hijacker threatened the passengers with a gun and demanded that the pilot divert the plane to a different location.
And then, a moment later, for hijacker and hijacked alike, the world ends.
