Immunoreactivity for Tβ4 was detected in all different intestinal segments and in all glands examined, but with striking differences among different sites: pancreas and liver of adults showed the highest levels of reactivity for Tβ4, while the lowest reactivity was observed in the developing liver.
Although a modest reactivity with the heterologous GIV.1 antigen was observed at dilution ≤1 100, the GIV.2 antiserum showed the highest levels of reactivity with the homologous antigen.
