The predicted polypeptide sequences of trout properdins pfc1, pfc2 and pfc3 (449, 449 and 447 amino acids, respectively) share 78 90% identity to each other, showing the highest identity score (47%) with their zebrafish ortholog protein.
The sequence from E2 protein dataset with the highest identity score was used as the reference sequence.
Comparing D. melanogaster with D. virilis, the highest identity score is found for Mγ with ~92% (Fig. 1A,B) and the lowest for M8 with ~81%.

The nDNA BLAST hits with the highest identity scores were aligned against the mtDNA of the cell lines in which ChIP-seq signals were identified.
The initial comparison of the 16S rDNA partial sequences of the nine tested isolates with the RDP database revealed that most of them belong to the Kocuria genus, where six isolated were identified as K. rhizophila, and a single strain of Pantoea anthophila, with high identity score (Table 2).
