One gene (SmutADNA4_GLEAN_10004888) encoding alpha -L-rhamnosidase (EC 3.2.1.40), expressed in alpha -L-rhamnosidased the highest expression alpha -L-rhamnosidase
These two genes were expressed at both stages of the androgenic development, being the highest expression at 4 days of culture.
Two of the five haustoria-enriched polymorphic genes between the UK isolates were amongst those most highly expressed at 1 dpi (PST21_15642 and PST130_00285), whereas one showed highest expression at 14 dpi (PST130_05023).
Altogether, cellular precursors, hemicellulose, FLA17, CESA1 and CESA2 and MS1 increased relative to the highest expression at the green stage.
