The experiment results showed that 23.2% AgBr/TiO2 had relatively high reduction yields under visible-light irradiation for 5 h, with a methane yield of 128.56, methanol yield of 77.87, ethanol yield of 13.28, and CO yield of 32.14 μmol g−1, respectively.
S-Isomers of 2- and 3-methylcyclohexanone were enantioselectively reduced to the corresponding (1S, 2S --2- and (1S, 3S)--3-methylcyclohexanol, respectively, in high current efficiency (98.6 and 96.5%), high reduction yield (almost quantitatively) and high enantiomeric excess (ee) (100 and 93.1%), respectively.
