Those educated up to A-levels (RR = 2.8; 95 % CI: 1.8-4.5) or up to GCSE O Levels (RR = 1.9; 95 % CI: 1.3-2.7) were more likely to use electric fans to keep cool than those with higher university level educational qualifications during last year's heatwave.
