The notion that mutations in the coding regions of genomes are, in combination with selective forces, the main contributors to biodiversity needs to be re-examined as evidence accumulates, indicating that many non-coding regions that contain regulatory signals show a high rate of variation even among closely related organisms.
With the increase of the rate of variation of SCs, a slight increase in power of the first detail can be recognized as shown in the first detail of the fourth and fifth SCs of Fig. 4. In Fig. 5 SCs with a high rate of variation are shown.
The high rate of variation for chromosome 2 may be a result of the higher number of recombination hotspots, as has been reported by Nachman in the case of humans [ 49].
The high rate of variation observed in chr 2 may be because of the presence of a greater number of recombination hotspots, as has been previously reported by Nachman for humans.
Our findings however, show that these clinical practices were rarely performed in most of the included hospitals, with high rates of variation across the countries.
High rates of variation were exhibited in the terminal sections of the scaffold in the three genotypes, which coincide with identified QTLs for freestone-melting flesh, mealiness, and flesh bleeding in two mapping populations obtained through two crosses using the three genotypes studied here ('Dr. Davis' used as seed parent in both crosses) [ 54].

Because of this higher rate of variation, the NADH dehydrogenase gene provided a higher resolution in deciphering the geographical population genetics of the recent invasion.
Although there is a high rate of Rev variation in vivo, ERev amino acid variants share over 92% sequence similarity among themselves [27].
However, other ecological, social, health or behavioural factors besides their high rate of genetic variation can play an important role in the emergence of a disease [ 6].
