Through the cooperation of various university partners, the task of creating fair, high quality, competency-based assessments can be shared.
Now, with both national professionals prepared as trainers and training centers established, the project can reliably offer high-quality competency-based training both for new providers and for refresher events in settings closer to trainees' home facilities.
In future ULIS studies, demonstration of competency in high quality, unbiased goal setting will be an essential prerequisite for centre participation.
Thus, there is an immediate need for quality training programs to train faculty to acquire the necessary skills and competencies to conduct high quality research.
