Nine individuals (six females and three males) exhibited strong signatures of Floreana ancestry and a high probability of assignment to C. elephantopus as detected by Bayesian assignment and clustering analyses of empirical and simulated data.
This individual shows a low probability of assignment to the S. attenuata species but rather than a high probability of assignment in S. frontalis, this individual exhibits high probability of mixed grandparentage (Table 4).
Genetic subdivision and little admixture between species were detected among P. affinis, P. aylmer-robinsonii, P. beccariana, P. forbesiana, P. hardyi, P. lowreyana, P. munroi, and P. schattaueri and these eight groups meet the necessary criterion for species delimitation according to the GSC of high probability of assignment to their respective genetic groups (> 0.8 membership coefficient).

This possibility, while potentially interesting in its own right, should not detract from our ability to identify the progeny of the low-predation guppies, as any individual with a LP parent should have a Q-value indicating a high probability of assignment to the LP genetic cluster.

Interestingly, and despite the relatively low sample sizes, individuals from locality VB had high probabilities of assignment to the blue cluster, whereas in locality DD, just 1 km downhill from VB (see Fig. 1), the probability of belonging to the green cluster was higher.
