The T2WI-FRFSE images were interpolated to a higher matrix size of 1,024 × 1,024, leading to a pixel size of 0.16 mm × 0.16 mm for better visualization.
Finally, we need further technical improvements such as an increased signal to noise ratio in order to obtain images with higher image quality or higher matrix size.
Further work is ongoing to enhance the performance of this method, e.g. by allowing for fractional voxels and/or using a higher image matrix size (upsampling).
When unfavorable conditions such as heavy-oil, large matrix size, high IFT, low matrix permeability, oil-wet matrix and poorly connected fracture network exist in an oil reservoir, additional support to enhance the matrix oil recovery is inevitable.
