Regarding color attributes, the gelatin film without CLC addition gave the highest lightness (L* 91.95) but lowest in redness (a*-1.29) and yellowness (b* 2.25) values.
However, T3 showed a significantly (P < 0.05) higher lightness value of 51.70.
Higher lightness values in HG line could also result from a lower pHu.
HG birds had paler breast meat, i.e. lower redness (BCo-R) and yellowness (BCo-Y) and higher lightness values.
First, Fig. 8 shows that the color pairs that are more preferred than harmonious (upper left quadrant) are generally high in lightness contrast, whereas those that are more harmonious than preferred (lower right quadrant) are generally low in lightness contrast.
